Hollywood Beauty Academy will prepare you from no experience to licensed Esthetician working in a spa in just 2.5 months.

Hollywood has two specialized classes for Esthetics. Class sizes are limited to 18 students which means plenty of time with our instructors.

Why Hollywood is Different
Hollywood offers one of the top eLearning platforms for Esthetics. This allows students to attend in-person only two days per week and continue their studies throughout the week via our eLearning platform. All lectures and quizzes are delivered online so students maximize hands-on training when they are on campus.

While many schools “inflate” their teaching hours in order to charge more tuition, Hollywood follows Florida Department of Education’s 220-hour curriculum. This means that students graduate and become licensed Estheticians in 2.5 months as compared to other schools whose programs run 4 to 8 months long. Even though students spend less time on campus and graduate faster, their knowledge and competency of their field surpasses Florida’s standards. Hollywood’s placement rate is consistently over 95% within 3 months of graduation.

The faster, more efficient program means lower tuition for students. Hollywood’s Esthetics program costs $4,540 while most Esthetics schools charge over $10,000.

Course Duration
220 hours.  If you attend classes two days per week from 9am to 7pm, you will complete the course in 2.5 months (9 weeks).

We have classes running on Mon/Tue from 9am to 7pm OR Wed/Thu from 9am to 7pm.

We train Spanish-speaking students as our eLearning platform can deliver content in Spanish based on your preference.

At the end of the course, you will test with our lead instructors. You do not need to sit for a state exam.

Prerequisites
No prior skin care experience needed.  Prospective students must pass 10th grade English before enrolling. A high school diploma or GED is not required.

Total Tuition
$4,540. This includes 2.5 months of instruction, a Dermalogica Student kit, and all state board license and registration fees.

Hollywood is a Dermalogica Partnership School so you will be trained in using the Dermalogica line of products. You can get your Dermalogica certification as part of your instruction.

We use the latest edition of Milady’s esthetics textbook which can be purchased via Amazon.  The ISBN numbers are listed below in the FAQ.

Only $600 is due at enrollment.  The balance of tuition can be spread out over the program.  This equates to $950 per month until graduation.  You will get a free set of Milady textbooks if you signup and pay in full using cash, check or Zelle.

Federal student grants and loans do not apply for any 220 hour Esthetics program in the State of Florida. This is because federal funding only applies to programs above 600 hours. However, most students will attest that this program is one of the best bang-for-your-buck programs in Orlando. Most students recoup their tuition within three months after graduation when working in a spa.

Graduation
At the end of the course, you will test with our lead instructor. You do not need to sit for a state exam to become a licensed esthetician.

As a licensed esthetician, you are ready to work at a spa or to start your own salon. Once you have secured your license, it is highly recommended that you continue with your Full Specialist license as many spas value the range and flexibility of the additional training.
