COSMETOLOGY
Hollywood Beauty Academy will prepare you from will prepare you from no experience to a licensed Cosmetologist working in a hair salon in 10 to 11 months. Classes run three days per week, which allow our students to continue working during their training as a cosmetologist.
Hollywood only trains 25 Cosmetology students per cohort which means plenty of time with our instructors. Additionally, Hollywood’s cosmetology students get access to our Esthetics and Nail Technology instructors to enhance their training in these respective fields.
Why Hollywood is Different
Hollywood offers one of the top eLearning platforms for Cosmetology. This allows students to attend in-person only three days per week while continuing their studies via our eLearning platform. All lectures and quizzes are delivered online so students maximize hands-on training when they are on campus.
While many schools require students to spend 4 to 5 days per week on campus, Hollywood’s eLearning platform allows students to graduate faster with less days in school. This means that students can graduate and become licensed Cosmetologists in 11 months. Even though students spend less time on campus and graduate faster, their knowledge and competency of their field surpasses Florida’s standards. Hollywood’s placement rate is consistently over 95% within 3 months of graduation.
The faster, more efficient program means lower tuition for students. Hollywood’s Cosmetology program costs $7,995 while most Cosmetology schools charge over $18,000.
Course Duration
1200 hours. Class instruction runs Monday to Wednesday from 9am to 7pm.
We train Spanish-speaking students as our eLearning platform can deliver content in Spanish based on your preference. Our instructors speak fluent Spanish.

Prerequisites
No prior experience required. You must have a high school diploma or GED by the time you graduate.
Total Tuition
$7,995. This includes 10 months of instruction, a cosmetology kit, uniform, all state board license and registration fees. We use the latest edition of Milady’s cosmetology textbook, workbook and exam review books which you can purchase from Amazon. The ISBN numbers are listed below in the FAQ.
Only $600 is due at enrollment. The balance of tuition can be spread out over the 11 month program. This equates to $820 per month until graduation. If you decide to pay for the whole program at signup using cash, check or Zelle, you will get a free set of Milady textbooks.
We do not offer federal student loans or financial aid. However, most students will attest that this program is one of the best bang-for-your-buck programs in Orlando. Most students recoup their tuition within five months after graduation when working in a salon.
Career Opportunities
With a cosmetology license, you can practice in hair styling, esthetics or nail technology. Most graduates continue onwards to work in a salon or to start their own salon.

At Hollywood Beauty Academy, the Cosmetology program costs $8,995. The total cost of our program is cheaper than schools that offer financial aid because the Pell grant covers only a fraction of the total cost.
You can enroll in the program with a $600 deposit. Then it is $926 per month until you graduate.
