Mim P. (@acneisntugly) discusses her hormonal acne journey. Individual results may vary
If you love a great skin success story, you’ve stumbled upon gold today.
I have suffered with hormonal cystic acne for seven years since high school and have tried every imaginable product in the drugstore.
My doctor had also prescribed medication but it just burnt my skin and left me with so much scarring.
“Oral antibiotics left red scars all over my cheeks,” – Mim P.
We have seen so many advances in medicine yet NOTHING that is effective against acne?
It wasn’t until I found the combination of these ingredients that cleared up my acne and acne marks in just a single set.

Gold Standards in Acne Treatment
After seeing my doctor, I started to research the algorithm dermatologists use to treat acne¹.
In almost all types of acne, retinol* is the first choice dermatologists use and AZA² is also very effective against comedones, so I wanted to find a product that would combine both of these powerful ingredients together.
*A vitamin A derivative used in products for anti-aging and acne purposes, it’s a proven acne-fighting ingredient that diminishes the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and sun spots.
Clear Out: Powerful Yet Gentle on the Skin
[wpcs_item ids=”18″ column=”1″]
What I love about Clear Out is that it is powerful enough to clear clogged pores yet gentle for my sensitive skin. Most of my clogs were flushed out by week 8 using retinol + AZA.
A single bottle lasts me 12 weeks which is enough time to break the cycle of acne.
It is time now to focus on scar repair. When a pimple is inflamed, blood vessels dilate to bring more blood into the area. The dilated vessels leave a red scar long after the pimple has gone away.
In order to bring blood vessels back to normal, Clear Out uses Pracaxi Tea Tree Oil + AZA³.
It is a unique combination I have not found anywhere else … a product that can clear clogs AND reduce the appearance of red marks.

Clear Out is a night-time leave-in cream so if you need red scar coverage during the day, get the Lighten Up as part of the Power Duo set.
It is very difficult to find a product which is effective in getting rid of the redness so this Duo is a GAME CHANGER!
Once a red scar is exposed to UV, it can quickly collect melanin and turn brown. Brown scars normally take up to two years to fade away so I am diligent with the Lighten Up to ensure that red scars fade quickly.
Banishing Dark Marks & Hyperpigmentation
For the brown marks or for people with colored skin, use the Dark Mark Defense to fade the appearance of these stubborn brown marks.

It was designed to target brown acne marks using potent anti-pigmenting agents. In an independent study, users have seen the Dark Mark Defense fade the appearance of brown acne marks 4x faster than adjacent and similar sized scars without the DMD.

If you have oily skin, consider the Matte Hydrator. It breaks the vicious cycle (clogged pores -> more oil production -> more clogged pores) by properly hydrating your skin.
If you have dry, sensitive or combination skin, consider the Protective Moisturizer. It helps to repair the skin barrier that’s damaged from drying acne products and medications.
